for recurring, medium to large leagues, large annual events, or event organisers offering multiple tournaments a year. Whether or not you currently have an online payment solution, you recognize it as a key component of your participant's online experience, and for your back office efficiency. You value your participants experience on your site, and you want to give them an option to stay on your site during online payment process. Registration and payment processing occurs during the majority of the year for your organization - reasonable monthly fees for an online payment solution are an expected cost of doing business.

Not a Good Fit for

orginizations of medium to large size, operating 8+ months a year, that require stored payment profiles to enforce their payment policies (run late fees, cancellation fees, utilize a deposit based system, etc).

Branded Payment Experience
Participants will be presented with PayPal option alongside credit card checkout option in all payment areas (see screen shot below).
Stored Payment Profiles are Disabled
You cannot use participant card info and run payments later, work on a deposit system, or add late fees when using a PayPal based account. Particpants will need to enter card info every time they pay a fee.
Funds are Delayed
Payments are deposited into your PayPal account, not your bank account (3-5 days until available for withdrawal)

Player Payment Experience

With PayPal Website Payment PRO enabled, players and Captains can pay without leaving your site in a familiar credit card form. However, ALL payment areas will include a PayPal check out button, as required by PayPal.

Choosing PayPal check out would take your players to PayPal to submit payment, they would then return to complete their registration.
